ABOUT
Carol Ludlum Collier is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level. She began her yoga training at Anahata Yoga and Wellness in Lederach, PA with a 200-hour teacher training program in 2014. Carol continued her training at the YogaLife Institute in Wayne, PA, earning her 300-hour certificate with the Yoga Alliance. Carol teaches yoga from the Kripalu tradition, weaving the classical aspects of yoga as a spiritual practice into her classes.
A typical class focuses on stretching to release tension in the body and breathing to allow the participant to relax and more fully experience the poses and gain a sense of well-being.
Challenges are offered, as well as pose modifications, to nurture and care for the body and spirit in a safe atmosphere. One student stated, “Carol’s yoga class is like taking a mini-vacation every week.”
When she discovered yoga over 30 years ago, she knew she had found a lifelong passion that allowed her to be physically active while mindfully meditative. Carol’s favorite pose is the Sun Salutation for its gracious, flowing motion, balancing the seven chakras, and instilling a sense of power, confidence, and joy.
Off the mat, Carol provides software support as a database admin for PromptCare, a respiratory therapy healthcare company in King of Prussia.
She plays the fiddle and loves spending time with her husband, Neal, and growing family of three children, their spouses and two grandchildren.
